FFG Project „SmartCareBase“

In cooperation with the University of Vienna and SYNYO, Rodlauer Consulting is currently conducting a research project funded by the benefit program of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

The aim of the project is to create an internet platform that provides comprehensive information on assistive products and services for elderly people as well as people with disabilities and reduced mobility in Austria. It focuses on the peoples needs as well as on smart assistive technologies and products from the field of ambient assisted living (AAL). The platform offers the users manifold possibilities to search among products, manufacturers and suppliers. The platform also offers a forum that aims to encourage interaction between the users as well as a knowledge database. Users can find basic information as well as news on assistive products and ambient assisted living. The research study comprises a market analysis and both quantitative and qualitative interviews with potential users which contribute to a demand-oriented structure of the internet platform.
